Trying to think about my next step and am wondering who makes great headphone amps that are also great pre-amps?
Only ones I can think of are:

RSA:
B-52
Apache
Stealth

Melos products.

Who else?

My Zana Duex has two preamp outs and while it isn't quite as good as my CAT Ultimate preamp, it's pretty damn close (and it's $6k less). The big SinglePower amps make excellent preamps too. When I visited Mikhail at RMAF he was using the SXR(?) as a preamp and it was very nice.

It was the bigger one, the SLI-80, and no, the only line output was a filtered sub output, not full range.
No matter, it's sold now (packing it up today). Great headphone output, but I wasn't happy with the way it drove my speakers.

Found a speaker amp, still looking for a single component that would do headphone & pre-amp duty.
I'll go to separate components if I have to, but would rather save the shelf space & extra cabling if I can.

When it has pre-out jacks to feed a power amp.

The Cary 300SEI is and intregrated 300B amp that has a good headphone amp built into it, rather than a simple $5 R/C circuit that just taps off the outputs built into most pres or integrated that have a speaker jack on it.

Bozebuttons had his modded so that it is upgraded to a tremendously good dedicated headphone amp with all of the other circuitry disabled.
