I've never seen them for much less than $90, and they are priced well to begin with. I have them. They are pretty good all-around cans, and good if you are looking for a closed pair. So, yes, I would go for it at that price.

Refurb HD280s go for about that price. Double check, and then pounce on it (after reading some reviews of course

I got mine a while back from Guitar Center. They will nearly always price match- mine cost $67.99 plus tax.
If you want them at a great price, get them reconditioned. Sennheiser refurb's are almost always impossible to tell from the new ones. eCOST has them for $58.99.

But aren't the warranty for refurbished 1 year?
I think it is worth $10 more for 1 extra year warranty.

Good point.
Costco.com carries them once in a while- for $89.99 you get the Costco "Lifetime/Forever" warranty, better still.
BTW, Costco has the PXC 250's right now for $119 and, of course, returnable forever for any reason, no questions asked, no problems (just keep your receipt).

And, of course, do try the mod for more bass on the 280s if you get them. Mine got more bass and sound good.

I picked my 280's for $70 at Guitar Center, that's a good price.
