I have bought some Ultrasone HFi-580's a couple years back, they were good at the time. I then got some TTPods, those are nice for in ear and do the job just fine. I got some Sony 950BT's because I read some really nice reviews, they are very nice for something that's bluetooth.

I'm looking for a "little more" in full sized cans, something a little more Bose sounding. At least the "promise" that is Bose,  but I know there are far better out there for much cheaper than them.

I listen to a lot of Linkin Park, Capital Cities, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Calvin Harris, Daft Punk, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, etc. If anything can be recommended for someone who likes clean heavy bass, with crisp sound. That'd be great.

Thanks about to order now, birthday is tomorrow and gonna treat myself with 1 day shipping. Got another hour and a half decide if I want them tomorrow.

I'm also trying to decide between the Vmoda m100's, and the Sony MDR1A's. Between those 4, which are the best? I'm looking for the walk in store feel to try on a nice pair of bass headphones, and be amazed like when you first heard a pair of beats or the nicest Bose's.

The mdr1a may not have the bass emphasis you're looking for.
The sz2000s really benefit from an amp and aren't exactly made for portable use (size).
The m100 and yamaha pro 500 both have great isolation.

Both come with a case. I haven't heard them both so I can't say much else. The measurements do show that the m100 have more bass overall relative to midrange but the pro 500's square waves show more bass impact.

Thank you so much! I guess we will test them and see. They're preparing for shipment already, thanks for the advice :) I went with the M100's, as I've been seeing them everywhere on bass headphone recommendations. I really wanted to try the MDR-1A's, but I think they're too new and not many people have tried them.

Also ordered the XL ear cups, as everyone keeps saying order them with them for extra comfort/sound.

I got them, I'm surprised.. I don't hear a lot of bass. :/ I mean it's there, but compared to my hfi-580's and 950bt's it feels kinda flat in comparison... Kind of disappointed.

Is the seal over your ears good with the xl pads?

Maybe your ears just needs to adjust to the new sound. Really suprised you say v-moda lacks bass which they are known for.

Yeah. I mean maybe I'm just used to my TTPOD's, or 950BT's/HFi-580's. Maybe they're so clean that they don't even seem boomy, and maybe that's where I feel they lack bass. I'm not an "audiophile". They have BASS, just not the bass I was expecting.

And yeah I have the XL cups put on, they appear to be snapped in all fine :)

Try using only them for the next 2-4 days. Also let them play over night if you can. Then after 2-4 days try to switch back to your old cans and see what you think.
