Grados (and other brands) question. $250 Budget.

I find that Grados have a very unique sound, like no other headphones I've heard. If you liked the SR80, then I'd recommend sticking with Grado, maybe getting a pair of SR225i, rather than switching to something like a D2000.

I would say that the SR225i is the sweet spot of the prestige series. It is far less harsh than the SR325i and I find them to be just about as detailed. The $100 jump to the SR325i isn't worth it to my ears.

If you can find a used RS2/RS2i in the FS section, you will be in Grado Heaven (that is until you sell everything you own to buy a pair of RS1s :)

I actually found the SR325is a downgrade from the SR225i. Way too shrilly and hot treble!

Are you really said SR325is ? Not the SR325i

Never try SR325is, but SR325i just waaaaaayyy to hooooootttt (harsh) compare to SR225.

The SR325is is the same, just with silver cups...AFAIK.
