Just curious if the 325i is a large enough upgrade from the 225 to warrant it, or if waiting another couple of months and grabbing some rs-1s would be a more noticeable solution.

From my experience the 2 are definatly very different sonically, but my question is more regarding is the 325i a big enough upgrade from the 225 to warrant it. I intend to get rs-1s eventually, but are 325is worth picking up as well?

You really cant go wrong with the RS-1's. Save up and your ears will thank you.

yeah I think you guys are right. I'm going to skip the 325i and go straight to the rs-1 (maybe use some of the current fundage on some headphile beyer pads).

Oh, and while I liked the ps-1's of brian at the socal meet, the price jump from rs-1 just wasn't justifyable atm, but damn if those aren't a basshead

I have noticed something, why does no one comment about the RS-2'?

I honestly have never seen any...ever. I have however heard a ton of other cans and have hada few good sessions w/ rs-1s to get a decent feel for them. I guess it has to deal w/ if I'm going to drop $500 I might as well save up to the $750 or so to get the best of it...
