My new GS1000 say GS1000 on the box, but are 4 wires per side "L/R", so I'm not sure if mine are GS1000 or GS1000i...

Ya know one thing i have to admit with all the hooopala about the hd800 being "Handmade" in Germany, the Grados-upon looking at there production tour are all "Handmade in the US." but you don't really hear about it. Huh.

SWEET Box! I'm have to order myself one up for the GS-1000's and the RS-1's.

I'm ridiculously excited about the PS-1000's too.

it says:

"Grado now offers a wooden mahogany box to store your headphones.

Let us know which headphone you’ll be storing.

Shipped directly from Grado."

so i assume they make boxes to accommodate the different models.

I really like the idea of the box as an option rather than the price of the headphones jacked up for those that don't care much about the box. For those that want one (I'll be needing two) then they have it offered, but those that can deal with the cardboard or some other container they source out, they get to save some money.
