Grado give their SR serie new design as you can see in some threads.
Their RS & GS serie wood cup get darker.
Every models get thicker cable.

This is what I've seen in my local Grado shop.

The seller also state on their website that the new Grado model is PS1000 which costs about 2000USD in Thailand.
(I still have not seen the PS1000 )

Maybe It's a good time to let my GS1K go finding a new house. :-D

The wooden cups on the pair I used to have weren't too dark at all. More like a sandy color.

My RS-1 is a dark shade, my GS1000 is slightly lighter, both look great. Both acquired in the last three months.

I would really like to see more metal involved in their construction. If they made a metal cup with an rs-1 driver I would be all over that.

Hehe. I think original argument for HD800 (god it was horrible but it actually sounds reasonable right now given lack of 700's in the line up) was that there is a k701. Going with this logic and look at the current Grado line-up, they need an SR925.
