Hi.

I have a pair of grado SR80 juiced by an Meyer Audio Porta Corda II.

I find Grado's sound very detail but too bright and weak bass.

When I bought the Porta Corda, Jan Meyer shiped also an Oehlbach impedance increaser (looks like a "3,5 -> 3,5" adapter).

My SR80's sound better, but I think it would be nicer with more impedance input.

Does anyone tryed?

Does anyone know what is the correct English term for the connector I'm looking for?

Thanks

So you do or do not like the impedance increaser? Do you think it needs even more impedance added for some reason?

Years ago I added some impedance to a set of headphones by soldering some resistors into the wires and it was honestly more trouble than it was worth. I later just made a plug in version using resistors and a cardboard tube from a pants hanger.
