Which ones are better? Are there any suggestions for other headphones around $60? Thanks

SR60 by far. It's a worthy headphone, while I wound up giving away my very mushy-sounding DT231.

I have both, and i'd definitely go with the SR60, if u don't need the "closed" design.

SR-60 sounds very crisp compared to other headphones around that price range.

I own the Beyers and have heard the SR-60s. Even though I like DT-231s, I'd agree with the others, go for the Grados. I bought the headphones in the U.K. where the DT-231s are much cheaper, but for around the same price, I think the Grados are better. Of course, if you need closed phones then I think the Beyers are a great choice.

I was looking into the beyer because the grado can get uncomfortable after a while supposedly. Is that true?

Yes. You can try changing pads and bend the headband a little to loosen the clamp on you head, but they're still not the most comfortable headphones out there.

any headphones within the 50-70 range with sound comparable to the grado but are more comfortable?
