Grado SR 325i VS. Sony SA5000 ?

I think there will be some similarities between the sound signatures, but here is a another vote for the SA5000. To me, they sound very good most of the time. Sometimes, they do get a little edgy and cause me a headache, but it's a very different approach from most other headphones and worth trying to see if it is "your sound."

ok then the Sony wont fit for me because i hear mostly CD's and MP3's

Most CDs and MP3s are fine. Thin sounding metal ones are pushing it for most of the brighter end of the headphone market.

If I was looking for a headphone to do just that, I'd opt for an HD650 personally.
