I'm under the impression that these two are the brightest of the bright Grado line. I own the 125, but I'm wondering which of the two cans mentioned are brighter / harsher?

I have to say since I own both the 325i has a fuller sound and is brighter overall but a good kind of bright.The highs are very crisp with alot of detail but not harsh.I like the 125 and still use it with my computer but to me it is a harsher sounding headphone than the 325i.

Oh, so that would make them the brightest Grados. But could you elaborate more on how the highs on the 325i are "better"? Also, how is soundstaging with the 325i's?

One sure way to bring the best out of a Grado is thru the use of a tube am. So far my favorite is the Mapletree Ear Purist + HD100.
