Hello everyone. I am looking to replace the gimbals on my pair of RS1e's with some from Shipibo Audio.
However I was curious what was everyone's favorite way to disassemble these gimbals from the cups. They appear to be glued in but I know that there threaded as well. I just don't want to mess up the finish on the pins or anything.

I was thinking about using a small section of rubber hose or something like that to go over the pin so I can get a good purchase on it with some plyers to hopefully get it removed.

Thank you all for helping out. Good group of people here.
Kind regards.

The stock gimbals just have a notch on the plastic that goes into the hole. To remove you only have to pull out the two sides. The plastic gimbals should have enough flex to easily do this. Shipibo's come with directions for removal as well.
