I am so sorry for my wallet... I began buying headphones last January and I got addicted... I can't stop from buying... Since mid-January, I got HD555, K701, HD650, PRO2500 and I want more... Want to know them all before settling down with a pair or two.

Tried the SR80 and SR225 this weekend and loved them! SR225 more than SR80 though. And I think I have to get a pair of Grados. But which one, RS-1 or GS-1000?
I don't like bright cans, I am very sensitive to treble. That's why I prefered the SR225. I know 325/i will be too bright for me. But I don't know about the RS-1 nor the GS-1000.

Can anyone help me? Thank you!

I own the GS-1000, which I'm using as I type, anyways, I came across the same question before. I tried out the RS-1 before and I liked it very much, great soundstage, the bass is tight and highly controlled. But now that I compare it with the GS-1000, the GS-1000 is very different, I like it more though. The bass is even more controlled on the GS-1000 than the RS-1, and it's even got more punch to it. And everyone here will tell you that the sound of the GS-1000 is oddly different from the rest of the grado family, which I agree with. You just have to really try them out first.
