I'm getting prepared to pick up some Grado GS-1000 headphones next week, upgrading from SR125's.
I'm Canadian, and know that most places in the US won't ship to me, however, there is an authorized dealer about an hour's drive away from me in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
If I drive out and pick up the headphones there, will I be eligible for the manufacturer's warranty? Or do I have to purchase from an authorized dealer in Canada in order to be eligible?
Also, there is a Canadian dealer (Stereotypeaudio.com) that I am also looking at as a potential place to make a purchase. Is anyone familiar with this site, are they authorized?
I would basically like to ensure that I'm covered by a warranty in case anything happens. These are expensive headphones to just write off if they're damaged.
