Recently got myself a PS4 and I'd really like to use my Grado PS500's for gaming but unfortunately my Meridian Explorer 2 (which I love) is lacking an optical input. Should I buy some cheap-ass DAC with optical or should I perhaps sell of the Explorer and get the Direct instead? Which is a ton of money for a DAC without a volume knob.
Any other suggestions?
