grado plastic L R things that the cups and headband attaches to...

the black plastic things that the headband attaches to on my sr325is's has just broken - between the metal headband and the plastic inside the box there should be a pin that holds the headband in place. well, that's broken off, and this time on a headphone that i haven't even remotely rough handled (unlike my sr80's, which was going to happen, and my sr325i's, which was pulled off by some idiot)

it's nothing a bit of super glue won't fix, but it's getting quite annoying how it seems to break so easily. anyway, the same design is on all of grado's new york built headphones. does it often break easily on other headphones? or is just because the sr325i cups are simply heavier?

do you think we can convince john grado to put back the hp2 headband onto his regular headphones?

Probably not. They haven't raised their prices in forever and that would add cost.

Machined or stamped. Drilled and tapped. Split in half.

No way that would be cheap.
