This is a great idea -- didn't have an account when I first posted.

The photo is from Dark Audio. I didn't receive the damping material when I received my Liberator so have no feedback as to how well the damping material works or what material they are made from.

FYI. I went to Home Depot and bought some heating vent filters and cut some circles that fit between the Liberators and the earpads. Seems to cut the highs down to a level that my ears can deal with (and enjoy!)

I got in touch with one of the guys who make these and I will be making a wooden prototype for them.

Just wondering, is there going to be any interest for wooden liberators? (other than me of course...)

Just to update this, since it reappeared in such a timely fashion, and for anyone curious, I just received an email saying that there are some supplier issues and that these won't be available until those issues are resolved. Probably emailing them is the best way to get up to date info, obviously, but this should be current as of today.

With these, the MS1s are actually option for me. I just hope they fit.
