Very nice pics. As an HP-2 owner I know the beauty of these cans is more than just superficial. They are truly special and wonderful cans. Another vote to put them in the MoMA.

I love my HP-2's and HPA-1 Amp combo. Aural bliss.

They are about as heavy as any set of headphones (probably about the same as the K1000), but the weight and solidity just make them seem even better built (except the lettering, which seem to come off pretty easily from the looks of all the HP2s around).

Which reminds me, I saw Joelongwood's HP1 last weekend at the NY Meet, and that was prestine! It could have passed as New Old Stock. Simply amazing condition.

why cant we get those little screw on "L" and "R"s for other Grado models?
Also, why is the metal driver housing (sonically) superior to one made from wood?
