Bowl, flat or jumbo? Which do you prefer for the HP1000?
I have the flats and they are a little uncomfortable. My ears are average size.

My understanding is that the HP-1000 was designed for use with flat pads.

If you don't want to change the sound too much from the flats and the fact that they were part of the design, you could try some modded HD414 pads, much more comfortable than flats.
