Has anybody tried the pads on the GS 1000s on other Grados? Tried GS 1000s, thought they sounded wonderful, but a bit more than I would like to spend on cans.
The GS 1000 were also head and shoulders (or should I say head and ears) more comfortable than the other Grados. Hence the question. I am sure that they would fit, but I wonder about the sound. The store where I tried them only had one pair and, understandably, did not want to risk tearing the GS 1000 pads by taking them off and on.
