Okay, so my friend is trading me his half-busted SR60's.
It's missing the grills and the headband is a bit out of shape but it's a Grado.

Anywho, I was wondering what type of replacement grill I could use for it?
I would have to take apart the Grado's, right?

Sorry, I'm new to DIY.

Is there a step-by-step on how to take apart the Grado's?

Well could ring Grado about it.

Another option is what PC guys call modders mesh, looks pretty similar to the grado grill imo.

Get some of that, cut to shape and spray it black or if you like the naked metal give it a spray of some sort of clear stuff, lacquer, varnish stuff. Can't think of the name...

That stuff looks nice. The round-hole one is basically what my SR60 grills are; not entirely sure what higher-end Grados have for mesh, but I think its similar to the aluminum kind. I wonder how easy that is to work with... might use it for my next PC.
