Has anyone upgraded the Grado cable? If so can you easily do it yourself and are there parts?

Grado recables aren't all that common here. Unless you're going for balanced connectors, it's probably not worth messing with.

The stock Grado cable seems to be the best stock one out there. I've liked it more than Senn, AKG, and Beyer. I agree, I don't think it's worth it unless you're going balanced, but even then you could use the same cable I would assume.

A couple vendors will do this. I have a recable from headphile.

Are you looking for a new Grado cable, or some thing different?
My Grado cable was worn out. I replaced it with a Senn HD650 cable. It is a lot more flexible, and it uses a higher grade copper. It has nice transparent sound as well.
