A month or so I started having problems with my UM2s where the left ear went almost muted. So I sent them into Westone. Later I received a delivery notification in my email, that day I received a phone call from Westone saying they are fixed and on there way back to me, priority. I received 2 days later (Colorado to east cost Canada!). Supposedly the left filter was gunked up and they just replaced the filter. When I received them back from repair they were no longer muted but were slightly uneven sounding, left sounded congested. So I sent them back in asking to see if they could fix the problem and also replace the cables. Today I received a completely new pair of black corded UM2s and boy do they sound great. The new Um2s sound so much better than the olds it’s incredible.
