Just stumbled across these guys yesterday. I'd say closer to blues rock than hard core blues, But really been enjoying the album.

Ironically enough I was living in Austin when this storm hit, which he went on to write this song/album about. It was an amazing experience, as Joe Bonamassa would say, "High Water Everywhere."

I regret not seeing Stevie play live, I had an opportunity and did not go....I always regretted it.

One of my all-time favorites....i can listen to him all night, and have many times

He loved to play that is for sure. Many a night the club owner had to plead, force, threaten, to get him to stop playing by closing time. And no matter what anybody tells you, his brother was no better <lol>. Those were some of the greatest days of my life, going to school during the day and hanging out at one of the blues clubs listening to whomever was playing that night. You could hear a killer blues performer on almost every night of the week, no problem. BTW, If you get the chance to go see his brother Jimmy in concert...DO IT!! You will not regret it one bit!! Keep in mind, it was Jimmy who taught Stevie how to play.
