I just purchased bigcat's Dodd Headphone Amp with NOS WE tubes and a stepped attenuator.
When I first saw this amp a while ago I thought it was very interesting; when the deal came up here I couldn't resist!
I kind of feel bad now though, I had a balanced MINT (doublemint, snicker) amp all planned out and even a balanced TPA6120 amp following that; not too sure what will happen with those now... although probably curiosity will get the best of me and I'll have to finish them and see how they turn out.
Anyway. I'm pretty excited about this new amp - is there anything I should be aware of when I get it? Any suggestions for accessories (tube dampers)? Alternate tubes (although the WE tubes are supposedly quite amazing)?
