After couple years of savings and I was able to purchase the SR-009s with the SRM-353x (both arriving today), I know need a god DAC to pair it with. Looking for recommendations.

I currently own the Oppo HA-1, which has the ESS9018PRO chip. Though I like its versatility like display, iOS connection, etc, I sometimes feel this is too bright or too "metallic" for me. I would prefer a DAC with balanced outputs though this is not required, UBS input as 100% of my music is in my computer, would like to have some kind of display and hopefully costing no more than $1.5k.

its the DAC/AMP i use and its fantastic. not bright, not dark, 100% neutral and extremely clean.
Has a screen, is usb and has multiple inputs and outputs.
