Got my custom in ears (ES50's) and I'm not sure about the fit. Looking for advice.

hey guys,

I got the ES50's recently and these are my first pair of custom in ears. When I pop them in my ears it feels like they fit perfectly but after a while I get some
ache in my ears and after a longer period it gets better I assume because of the heat activated material used on the tips. Are custom in ears supposed
to be so comfy that you would forget about having them on or am I expecting too much?

I'm not sure if I should send them for adjustments and if I do, how big of a risk it is that it get worse in terms of fit or sound duo to not tight enough fit.

Have no idea how I'm supposed to recognize where exactly on the earphones need adjustment also.

Really appreciate it to hear about your experiences.

The comfort of my ES5 was similar to what you've just described. I think part of the ache is that they are silicone and get such a tight fit. Westone has pretty good customer service, perhaps call them and describe the issues you're having?
