Just go into it knowing the first couple of days it might fatigue/hurt. If after a week they still bother you I'd return them. I personally love the 990's but I also know if after a week they still bother someone then they aren't the headphones for that person.  Also the headphones EQ really well. If you want to boost certain ranges the headphones respond well without distortion.

The HD330 is very cheap, I'm actually thinking about getting both the HD330 and the Beyer 990  Would the FiiO E7 be enough to drive the 990´s?

Okay so I've done a little research and it doesn't seem like the E7 would work. But I saw that the Schiit Magni works just fine, but I can't afford both the Magni & Modi. So can I use (at least for the moment) only the Magni for the 990?

Absolutely. It should help you get the volume you need with less distortion.

You can probably do without the modi for awhile, i still haven't gotten mine but I will soon.
