Hello all, I recently got a set of rollers like these and want some good music to motivate me for my winter indoor roadie workouts.

I usually listen to slower less energetic acoustic guitar, jason mraz, howie day etc.

What music gets you going? Pumps you up? What could motivate you to ride your road bike for hundreds of miles while simultaneously going nowhere

Pantera, Metallica, Slayer, Guns 'N Roses, AC/DC... if it caused public outcry when it was released, it's a pretty good sign it'll get you moving.

I'm a metalhead, so I have plenty of songs like that. A couple good ones...

White Zombie - More Human Than Human, Electric Head Pt. 1
Metallica - Anything from Kill 'Em All
Slayer - Raining Blood, Angel of Death
Motorhead - Ace of Spades, Overkill
Sepultura - Policia, Biotech is Godzilla, Orgasmatron, Arise
Pantera - Everything from Cowboys From Hell and Vulgar Display of Power, except for Cemetary Gates and Hollow

Far from "slower less energetic acoustic guitar", aye?

Don't laugh but there are several great workout albums by these popular high
energy dance CDs from 1990s:
Vengaboys
Amber
La Bouche
2 Unlimited
Alice Deejay

Also one hit wonder - Techtronic (pump up the jam)

Couple of the top of my head...

Tom Petty's "Full Moon Fever" is a rather tranquilizer type album, but everytime "Runnin' Down a Dream" comes on I catch myself speeding. It's a good "finale" song for that last mile.

Just about any "Judas Priest" is hard driving. That band should keep you going for hours.

Oh and, Soundtrack from "Rocky"

EBM is probably the most energetic electronic music I've heard yet. Perfect example is the band Eisbrecher. Awesome, awesome stuff. Every one of their songs will get you going.
