Good project to learn/practice surface mount soldering?

My first foray into SMD stuff was the Mini2 from AMB.
The only surface mount stuff are the two opamps but that's probably for the best because you get experience with it, but it's not so much that you want to rip your hair out if you do not like it. Plus, it's easy enough you don't have to get a reflow station or anything!

And you end up with a pretty nice amp.

Not in DIY! You just throw it in after your morning toast
