I'm looking for a smooth sounding headphone/clip on that I can take around as a portable. as for 'how portable' I want it to be, it just needs to be smaller than an average 1.25 litre softdrink bottle, as that is the maximum my pockets in my jeans will fit.

I will have these with an S:Flo2, so sensitivity isn't a critical matter, the S:Flo2 has a fairly good inbuilt headphone amp.

Sound Quality over Isolation for me, I won't be on the train or in a very public area most of the time.

Signature: Smooth, but fairly analytical, I like my headphones just a bit on the dark sounding side.

Bass: Doesn't need to be heavy, somewhere inbetween AKG K701 and HD650 weight would be the sweet spot.

Do you want IEM or overhead ones? I hear the Head-direct RE1 is pretty great when amped.
