Hello everbody,

I am a new member to this forum and I have a few questions.

I recently bought a pair of Aiaiai TMA-1 Fools Gold Headphones and so far I am very pleased with them but I have heard that these headphones benefit greatly from a headphone amp.

So my question is, Do you think I should buy a headphone amp for these & if so what portable headphone amp should I buy? I am willing to spend up to $300 AUD & if you think that there will not be much noticable difference from a $300 amp to say a $100-$200 amp, please say so.

Should I buy a Line Out Dock and which one should I buy?

Also if you could point me towards a good Australian retailer that sells your reccommendations, please do.

Thanks.

Hello there,
Yes, if you're after an amp, I know just the amp for you!

It's of less than $100 AUD, and it does wonders.

It's the C&C BH (as linked to the eBay here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/C-C-BH-Portable-Headphone-AMP-battery-AMP-CC-BH-NEW-/261172737290?pt=US_Pro_Audio_Amplifiers&hash=item3ccf1bb50a&_uhb=1#ht_2642wt_1397)

Very good amp, lasts up to 80 hours without a charge, and it's nice and compact - it's about the same size as a credit card, if not, a tad bit smaller.

Here's the thread, if you want more information on it:)

I'm just saying, it is what you should consider, if you were after a cheap, yet high performance portable amp!

Ok, thanks for the reply.

Just wondering if anyone could give me some other good amps that they know of so I can compare them & make a decision.

I forgot to add, it's got straight 5 star reviews.

C5 is transparent, it won't change the sound sig. A silver plated copper cable will change it more.
