It seems as if portable CD players are basically dead -- I posted in April looking for one and while I may have made too many demands, I didn't even get a single response. But thankfully my current one still works, for now....but I need a new case for it.

So, anyone have any ideas on what I can buy and where to get it? I just want something to hold a CD player and CDs without case. My current one is a CDProjects, but it's pretty much very ripped (I'm holding it together with safety pins -_-). They stopped making such cases, but their CD holders are 'portable'. Any cases out there that I can stick them in? They are the best CD holders I've found in that they don't scratch the CDs at all.

Sigh. It's crazy that they still sell tons of CDs, but Mp3 players pretty much killed portable CD players....

I have one. Can't hold too many CDs in individual slips, maybe 10?

I can fit an iBasso D1 in the top and a few CDs under the player and it becomes transportable!
