Dear Head-Fiers:

I'm trying to decide on a safe U.S. retail source for new Sony NH-14WM gumstick batteries.

Any recommendations from satisfied customers? I don't mind paying a little more to make sure the article is genuine, BTW... (peace of mind

Thanks for any pointers,

Phil

...are there fake ones?

I have two of them that I got with a Sony CD Player that I think saw 10 hours of use. I'll charge them up and make sure they are working fine. I'd be willing to let then go as a pair for $40.00 plus whatever shipping comes to. Let me know.

Heck, I'd rather not find out the hard way.

The battery market is apparently filled with fakes and unreliable imitations...

Hi -- that would suit me fine. BTW, what charger are you using for them?

Aw, heck -- I went ahead and ordered four from <https://www.audiocubes2.com/>. Hopefully enough charge cycles and battery hours to keep the PCDP running for the remainder of its life. Lots of dodgy stuff out on the web, BTW, and the best feedback is from the minidisk user community.
