Just got a Little Dot headphone amp and want to get a power cable. Do not however wish to spend more than amp. Are there any nice value cables in 2-3 meter < $80?

Try the shielded solid core found in our local dumpster if your current power cord contains many small wires. No soldering required, just screw them on the connector and listen.. any change?

Use the power cable that came with the amplifier or indeed any "kettle lead".
 
There are lots of companies that would love to sell you a power cord for a lot of money but despite their claims there is no evidence that these cables make any difference.
 
It is just a big rip off.

There are plenty of anecdotes and some dubious research such as Vertex/Acuity/Nordost and Virtual Dynamics undergraduate papers but nothing that stands up to strong scrutiny.

The subconsciousness are a part of the conscious self as Jung would have said the shadow, your feelings and absolute pitch memory. Edit: Interesting when Cranial CT scan gets faster as in continuous, but as of now subconciousness are rather unknown as the deep sea. Another interesting field is dark matter/ force, we know it's there, but..

You are making this more complicated than you need to, I am not a Jungian (mystic collective unconscious...) myself, nor a Skinnerian but Skinner (Spit !) does say one thing useful IN THIS CONTEXT, I'll paraphrase
" hey dudes it's like immaterial what is like going on under the hood i'ts like what you can observe, word !"
 
or... Whatever the cognitive mechanisms involved an observation of whether someone can reliably/accurately detect a difference between two stimuli is good enough evidence for a real difference, controlling for false positives of course.
 
Since there are many positive DBTs in audio as well as in other more rigorous domains we can probably take this as a decent working parameter.

DBT are boring and therefore the detection rate are incorrect, it's what people consciously discerns throughout a greater time span (crystallized, end product, summa summarum) than just one feeling.. a difference in transient response, now it's there, hearing it on ten different cables + x hours... yawn.. it's all the same to me, when does this DBT-test end?

All that good DBTs do is remove the triggers for auto-suggestion.
 
I think DBTs are very interesting, and I think doing them is probably very interesting as well.
 
They are certainly a lot more convincing than voodoo rubbish like this.
 
The irony is that people who deny the results of good DBTs are denying the ability of humans to detect or perceive audio differences!
 
The results of good DBTs show the marvellous human hearing at work free from influence.
 
But oh no, the voodoo fans won't accept the results of human hearing of course. The rubbish they've digested from some snake oil cable salesperson is just so convincing!

DBT removes all joy, I listen not to music only by analyzing it. DBT are utter boredom and trite, as reading a phone-book from A to Z. That so many are lying through their teeth in everyday life but are revealed through body-language are funny, almost like... what? Now, listen to me!

If you need a replacement, or don't like the fit of the cable they sent you.  Otherwise don't fall for shams... I think the best argument is, why bother if miles of power cable are the same exact line.  Using one of these boutique cables really won't make a difference if you look at the big picture.
 
Even if they did their benefits will be negated by the power supply which is going to convert AC into DC current and then store it for use by your device.
 
If you do decide you want to invest in a good power cable regardless of whether you will hear the difference or not medical grade cables are always high grade.  After all they  power devices that could be the difference between life and death.
