Looking for decent IEMs for jogging. Doesn't have to be stellar or anything, but something that balances price and performance and is appropriate for jogging.

Can't use my IE8s for jogging!

Anything that is worn over the ear. Ai-m6, pl50, pl30, etc. All give good bang for the buck and are comfortable. Plus, most budget over the ear IEMs are relatively shallow insertion - so you get reduced microphonics and the ability to hear traffic to keep you alive. (always a plus in my book

nremondelli, I am also a runner and must say that over the ear with a slide is the only way to go. I have owned many IEMs and my two favorites for running are the JVC HA-FX300B, and the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 . Obviously the UEs sound better, but they are also $200 compared to $55. There are many other choices, but I highly suggest making sure that the IEM you choose is an over-the-ear AND has a slide.

The CX300 are extremely microphonic and easily the worst I've had in that area. I would not recommend them as they also fall out of your ear pretty easily and pretty prone to wind noise.

I'm also using Ai-M6 for working out/jogging. It's fairly cheap, solid sound quality, doesn't have bad microphonics, and it has a strong cable with a shirt clip and ear hooks. My only suggestion is for anyone going this route, don't get the clear, because the copper wire will turn green from the sweat...

I use IE6's for running, mainly because of their low isolation. I used to run with um3X but decided against that, didnt want to sweat them out!

You might also want to consider portables like the KSC75. Good sound for cheap so they're easy to replace.

I've seen a couple people say that but I wonder if anyone who recommends them is actually a runner/jogger. I can't imagine running with those on my head.
