Hey, so I am looking for my first pair of headphones, preferably over-ear. I mostly like listening to rap, country, rock, and pop, and I need headphones with good bass, mid, and treble. Noise cancelling and wireless are not something I want. I don't care if they aren't this year's model, and I would like them to be under $100

Hi,

You should also consider Takstar Pro 80 (or Gemini HSR-1000 - same headphones)

You should also consider Logitech UE6000. You can find a pair under 100 nowadays. You can read about them here:

Best Luck!

I can second the Donscorpio Dolphins and NVX XPT100.

I would also add Logitech UE6000 to your list since they can generally be found between $80 to $90 because they are on closeout. And while they have noise cancelling, they have better SQ with it turned off.

Also, check out the Sony MDR-V6 and 7506.
