Hi everyone, well i'm looking for headphones for ballads mainly i'm currently shifting between some fostex t50rp mk3,dt 880, and hd 598, and i'm ok with them but want a step up, i have about 350 dollars but i have a problem with my country (mexico) where you don't find stuff from a lot of brands so a lot of suggestions would be great. Thanks

HD650 are fantastic for vocal performances.

650s have a midbass hump,which can sound muddy.
600s do not have the hump,but are dark,relaxed sounding.

Personally having owned the 600s I prefer my ATH AD2000s for vocals

Grados and alessandros do well too,but it depends on who you ask

Never heard the AD1000x or 2000x myself...i only have the discontinued ad2000.

I've actually been thinking a lot between the ad1000x and hifiman he400s i have like 2 days to decide. Hopefully i'll get the best option
