Good general-use headphones for around $120?

So the HM5, the FA-003, and the Jaycar headphones are all actually the same thing? they look nice, for an amazing price. (accidental rhymes!). those would bump the Ultrasone's out of the running, in terms of better price, and neutrality.

I haven't heard them, but I read a bunch of the threads on the HM5 and FA-003 and it seems they are supposed to be. There are a few other instances like this where headphones from China are being rebranded by different companies. Search the discussion thread for the other two versions, looking for keywords Jaycar, and you should find plenty of people talking about them.

I doubt for $25 that any IEM will compete with the JVC HA-S400. They are amazing for the price. But I could be wrong

To learn more about IEMs, see joker's reviews in your budget range: http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/multi-iem-review-293-iems-compared-etymotic-research-ety-kids-added-08-12-13-p-748

The HAS400 headphone  is great, however there are good IEMs for under $25, such as the Sony MDR-EX210B, the Panasonic RPHJE450 and RPHJE355, and the Soundmagic ES18. The ES18 is only $12!
