Hi all. I've gotten rid of my amps in hopes of getting a better one but I'm not too sure which will synergize the best with my headphones. I do most of my listening out of my AV710 and from my D2000 and W1000, both of which are 30-40ohms. I've heard that tubes dont work very well with low impedance cans and that was the case with my LDII. I liked the tube warmness , but the upfront presentation was a bit much on my W1000. Also I the volume knob basically stayed low, never even reaching the quarter mark. So I thought maybe solid state amps would be better or maybe even a hybrid. Heres what I'm looking for in sound:

Tube warmness and full bodied sound
Good detail
Good soundstage
Nothing with an overwhelming mid-treble presentation

Here are the amps I've been considering so far:

CKKIII
Millet Max
Original Master

I'm pretty new to desktop amps but what I know so far is that they are much much better than portables. I'm open to other suggestions as long as the cost is around $200 or under.

Millet Hybrid Max should be your ticket. I owned one for a while, its exactly what you are describing (did not do it for me because I am looking for sounds that are more assertive in the treble).
