I'm saving up for a pair of Talos's (I'm in HS), and I'm sort of new to the amp/dac market, and I read that the Talos's need a bit more aplification despite it being 50 Ohms. I don't really listen to music in public with my CB-1s, but that might change so I'd like to know what kind of desktop and portable amps would be suitable enough for a pair of Talos modded T50RPs (and a suitable DAC too if you don't mind throwing me a bone here). I'm not planning on upgrading in QUITE some time afterwards (since the next suitable leap in headphones seems to be $800+ which I'm hesitant to spend as a student), so I'm not really considering "future proof" amps or dacs if that's a thing here like it is for PCs.
