I've been enjoying the Meier Audio Corda Cantate.2 with mine. It was voiced for the HD650 and sounds great with them. Also has Meier's cross feed which is very natural and unintrusive.

I am using the Headroom Micro DAC and the Purity Audio K.I.C.A.S. Caliente.  Great combo and not too expensive!

idk i think both of those are great but im looking for a combo (like the Contra) that maybe has Optical. I was told that optical is still a better connection than USB? that is why i gravitated towards the musiland DAC/AMP (nice its an all in one).
 
Am i wrong to do this?
