I'm looking for some good classic rock with good cd mastering. A few I've been listening to recently for starts:
Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love - there was a second cd mastering issued around 99 I think. I purchased this in 2003, and its the newer one
Van Morrison - Moondance - unknown pressing, think latest
Pink Floyd - DSOM - SACD (but no sacd player)
Also, does anyone else have the Doors - Legacy (compilation) ? Some of the later tracks like Riders On The Storm sound great, but some of them aren't so hot (Break on Through). I would assume since this is a recent release they are the best masters, but have you heard any better?
