Hello all. I'm looking for a good headphone amp in the price range 2000/4000. My present setup is : HE1000 V2/Ultrasone 10/ Fostex TH900. My headamp is a Cavalli Liquid Glass. I find it nice with the TH900 and the Ultrasone 10 (which I really like, despite all the fuss), but really flat and lacking for the Hifiman V2. Any suggestion ? Some...

The RME is excellent for tuning your sound as you have easily accessible balance and EQ controls. Plenty of power and current for planars while keeping things well in check for dynamic driver headphones.

The Benchmark is world renowned for build quality, output power, and measurements. It will be very difficult to find a better headphone amp, but the cost is quite high.

I have just gotten a pair of HE1000 V2, looking for a amp to increase the sound texture and the sound stage.
Any recommendation between $2k and $4k range?
Current equipment is ADI-DAC2 FS and Phinotor X3.

any comment on WA2 (v2) or Manley Absolute (a little higher than my budget, but lt looks very nice to me).
