I'm looking for a nice pair of headphones. My budget is $100-200. They need to be closed.
 
I am NOT a bass-head. I just want really good sound quality and soundscape.
 
I don't know whether neutral would be best for me, or something else (I did buy a Brainwavz HM5, but it was broken when I bought it so I had to return the pair). Any recommendations?
 
P.S.
I mostly listen to all kinds of rock (prog, classic, indie, etc) and metal. and I don't want to purchase an amp.

The HP100 is definitely a bit more on the neutral side, while the Amperior has a slight v curve.
