Im looking for a good 1/8 to 1/8 interconnect for under $15 that is at least 3 or 4 feet long, any recommendations?!

Not sure how many "good" ones you will find under $15, but I'd say the 1M Cardas one on headphone.com should be good: http://www.headphone.com/products/ca...mini-cable.php

Their shipping is $7 iirc, so it'd come out to around $32 or so.

Send Blue Jeans Cables an email requesting a quote for a 1/8" male to 1/8" male stereo cable. You should be able to get one at around $25 for 3 feet or $26 for 4 feet.

Balanced and unbalanced has more to do with the equipment than the cables. Just make sure that the cable you get has a tip, ring, and sleeve, just like the plug on your headphones.
