.... to power my two bookshelf speakers. I'm doing digital out from my laptop (via USB soundcard) to this to my two bookshelf speakers.

Maybe use the headphone output for my upcoming HD497s. Wachu think? Or should I just save my money, and use the headphone out and get a vintage amp...?

What speakers are you going to use?
Its an expensive amp for a pc.

Get a 2nd hand amp for like $50.

Ya know what? I dunno if it's even worth it... cos I'll only be using it 8 months a year (college).

Or maybe I'll just bring my panasonic mini system and output in there...
