I just purchased a Goldring NS1000 noise cancelling headphone. I do not use noise cancelling at home of course (I use the feature only on travel). The sound is good, but kind of "distant". After careful inspection (it is inexpensive), I found a piece of pad inside the ear cup, after removing it, the sound changed and not strange any more, the sound is more direct and "correct" in my ears. Anybody got any experience with that?
