So i just got these, and from 15 minutes of listening, i am very happy
!.
I am using them straight from my ipod or soundcard or receiver, as i have no intention of owning amps etc.
People often compare these to the sen 595s, but i would certainly say they are better (from memory).
I love the ksc75s, and these do seem to be a somewhat upgraded version. They are upfront, have great mids and highs, but also have some good deep bass.
When compared to grado sr225s (from memory), they are also superiour. I found the 225s with bowls to be a bit muddy in the bass (though with proper amplification, i certainly could see that being fixed), the 150s are great in they dont feel drained of power out of the ipod.
On the whole, these are great all arounders. The only weakness is staging. Seperation is great, but the sound does ten to come from inside your head, not out. I like that feeling though !!!
