Artpark (www.artpark.net) is hosting the band America tomorrow for their free Tuesday in the Park series. I've always liked their music, but have never heard them live. I'm hoping for a nice dry day as we will most likely be sitting on the lawn listening. Anyone else been to an America concert? How did you like it?

My mom saw them back in the seventies and said she liked them...

I liked them, they played with Peter Paul & Mary at Blossom back a few years ago...they have more songs than just the "horse with no name"...you should enjoy it, since on the lawn, try and take a high quality Digital Camera to record a few tracks, if I recall, their sound system was not overbearing, and carried fairly well....hope you have fun!!
When I went, I felt like a big goober, as everyone was much older with kids, and I was one of like a 100 people under 40...
I didn't care, and you shouldn't either, they are a great band to see, word..

Bring head protection. I hear there are "alligator lizards in the air".
